The Administration:

Hotel Tibet located at Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India was establised in 1979 by the Tibetan Administration Welfare Society under the Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration.

Hotel Tibet has been taken over by the Federation of Tibetan Co-operatives in India Ltd. (FTCI) on 1st November 2005.

The primary objective of Federation of Tibetan Co-operatives in India Ltd. (FTCI) is to generate revenue for the Federation and to enhance employment opportunity and to develop human resource expertise amongst the Tibetans.

To make the Tibetan Settlement viable by promoting the interest of all its individual member to attain their social and economic betterment through self-reliance and mutual help in accordance with the cooperative principles and making positive endeavors towards the preservation of Tibetan culture and traditions.


Management:

Hotel Tibet is managed under the administration of FTCI with its Board of Directors headed by the Chairman and CEO.

The General Manager and Section Managers look after the daily business of the Hotel in accordance with Rules & Regulations drawn by the Head Office.
